West Street Memorial Baptist Church was first built in 1787. The church was rebuilt in 1899. It was sold in 2010 and is now a Junk shop I can think of no more undignified end for it, the front looks like a junk yard now. RIP

This week a drive by which I too as we crested the hill beside the chapel at Pengenffordd. When I first drove past the church it was in use but a couple of years ago went up for sale and I think it was purchase because there has been work going on here and the wall you see rebuilt. You can read more about it here Moriah Chapel

Builth Wells Ecumenical Church

Alpha is believed to be the first Meeting House set up by Howell Harris in 1747. The building has been re-built twice since the fist impression, the current building dates back to 1903. In 2007 it became the main centre for worship for the Builth Ecumenical Church when the PCW, URC and Baptist Churches became one.
