InSPIREd Sunday #201 - March 4-6, 2017

Take a drive! Explore new areas! Go on vacation and look for different vistas! It is amazing what you will find if you look in a new direction. Sometimes you might find a beautiful old church, or a magnificent towering cathedral. Perhaps a unique building turned into a place of worship, or an unexpected non-traditional gathering place of like-minded souls praying to their God of choice. When you do find these lovely places, take a photograph and share it here.

Welcome to InSPIREd Sunday where we celebrate the unique architecture of churches, synagogues, temples, cemeteries or other religous buildings each and every weekend. We are non-demoninational here -- we truly enjoy seeing other parts of the world through your lens.

Each Saturday @ 3 PM Pacific, 6 PM Eastern, and Sunday @ 12:00 AM (UTC +1), we open up the meme. After posting your link, we encourage you to visit others who are sharing their finds from around the world.

Thank you for visiting and sharing your finds. We hope you are having a great weekend wherever you may be!

Shalom all. March 4 is the Orthodox Christian feast day for the fascinating 5th century monk St. Gerasimus, so I'm sharing my posts about his monastery near Jericho.
